Volcanoes are cold on Pluto!  

When we think of volcanoes, we imagine red hot magma with very high temperatures. 

However, on Pluto, volcanoes release water ice, ammonia, and methane, and are extremely cold. 

This is because Pluto's average temperature is -232°C, making its volcanoes cold as well.
